URI - Uniform Resource Identifier

Access to VoIP service is authenticated through the use of an identifier and its password, issued upon activation.

This identifier is called URI and allows the system to locate the user within the Internet, linking the IP address from which the user has authenticated to the associated geographic numbers.

The service allows the user to authenticate with the same URI from different devices: in this case, an incoming call will "ring" all authenticated devices (SIP stations), and the call will be put through the station that first accepts it.

CLI - Caller Line Identification

Each URI must be associated with a geographic number, used as a calling line identification (CLI) in outbound calls. This number may be either assigned by us, or transferred through a number portability procedure.
